Helena Lybæk Guðmundsdóttir is Group Data Protection Officer (DPO) at NNIT, and teaches privacy data law and criminal law at Aalborg University, Denmark, at IT-Vests MA in IT Security, which she helped to create during her PhD studies.

Helena has previously worked with personal data at Lundgrens (Danish law firm) and have been Senior Data Protection Manager at Carlsberg Group, where she was responsible for building and implementing Carlsberg Groups global data protection compliance programme and day-to-day operations - in relation to privacy data law tasks in the group.

In addition, Helena Lybæk Guðmundsdóttir has previously worked as a Compliance Consultant at Bech-Bruun (a leading full-service danish law firm).

Helena has a Ph.D.in law (cybercrime) and worked on the defense side of the CSC hacker case. Helena also has experience with IT contracts, digital certificates, information security and project management.

Helena Lybæk Guðmundsdóttir is accredited in Privacy Program Management (CIPM).
