Common Traps to Avoid in Negotiation (Free webinar for JUC customers)
– Negotiation made simple with Robert Bordone: Senior Fellow at Harvard Law School and founder of the Harvard Law School Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program
JUC e are delighted to present a free webinar with our most popular speaker - Robert Bordone, Senior Fellow at Harvard Law School and founder of the Harvard Law School Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
The webinar focusses on Common Habits of the Effective Negotiator, because Negotiations are ubiquitous!
Whenever we try to persuade anyone to do anything, we are negotiating. We start negotiating at a very young age, trying to persuade parents or guardians to allow us to stay up past our bedtime or to watch a favorite program. Despite a lifetime of experience, even the most seasoned negotiators fall into common traps that limit their ability to negotiate as successfully as they might. Some of these traps relate to limiting assumptions about what is possible through negotiation; at other times, individuals fall victim to psychological biases and heuristics that can escalate conflict and narrow the range of possible mutually beneficial outcomes.
In this webinar, Robert Bordone, Senior Fellow at Harvard Law School and founder of the Harvard Law School Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program will share some of the most common traps that limit negotiator effectiveness.
Participants will also be provided with practical tips for avoiding these errors.
We look forward to welcoming you to this 90 min. webinar, which is free for all who has purchased a JUC product in 2021 (from January 1st to May 3rd 2021).
